    The following engine maintenance knowledge takes the Yuchai 91Kw four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine commonly used by our pile driver manufacturers on solar pile drivers as an example: Daily maintenance Check the oil: Check the oil, coolant and fuel levels before starting the machine every day to see if they are within the normal range. If they are insufficient, add them in time. Appearance cleaning: Open the hood at the rear end of the pile driver and wipe the oil and dust on the engine surface with a rag frequently to keep the engine appearance clean, so as to find out if there are any abnormalities such as leakage in time. Check the belt: Check the tension and appearance of the engine belt regularly to see if there are any abnormalities such as cracks and wear. If any problems are found, adjust or replace them in time.   First-level maintenance (performed after 100 cumulative working hours) Replace the engine oil and clean the crankcase: Replace all the engine oil in the crankcase and clean the crankcase with diesel. Drain the oil and clean the crankcase after the machine is warm so that the impurities in the engine oil can be discharged better.Generally, the engine oil can be filled to the middle of the yellow area at the end of the dipstick.During the running-in period of the pile driver, a lot of metal debris and other impurities will be produced, which need to be cleaned up.     Clean the air filter: Open the air filter, remove the filter element, and remove the dust and dirt on the filter element. If the filter element is damaged, replace it immediately.Note: The air filter element cannot be rinsed with water. Dust and dirt can only be blown away with a high-pressure airflow. If water is used for rinsing, the air filter element will be damaged. Check the diesel filter: After 200 cumulative hours of operation, remove the diesel filter element and clean it with clean diesel. If the filter element is damaged, replace it immediately. Secondary maintenance (performed after 500 cumulative working hours) Check and adjust valve clearance: Check and adjust the clearance of intake and exhaust valves to ensure the normal opening and closing of valves and the normal intake and exhaust of the engine. Injector maintenance: Check the injection of injectors, clean the injectors and correct the injection pressure to ensure the normal injection atomization effect of the injectors and improve the combustion efficiency. Check valve seal: Check the sealing of valves and valve seats, and grind and correct them if necessary to prevent valve leakage and affect engine performance. Check fasteners: Check the fastening and anti-loosening of cylinder head nuts, connecting rod nuts, and flywheel nuts to ensure that all components are firmly connected. Piston connecting rod assembly inspection: Take out the piston connecting rod assembly, check the piston ring opening clearance, clean and remove carbon deposits in various places on the piston head and piston ring groove. Check crankshaft oil seal: Check the crankshaft oil seal. If hardening or lip damage is found, it should be replaced. Wear measurement: For every 1000 cumulative working hours, the following maintenance items need to be added: Check and measure the wear and clearance of the cylinder liner and piston; check and measure the wear and clearance of the crankshaft connecting rod journal and connecting rod bearing; check the wear and clearance of the valve rocker arm and rocker arm shaft, valve and valve guide hole.

I hope everyone can remember how to maintain our money-making tool: pile driver on a daily basis.Next, I would like to talk about what we should pay attention to during the running-in period of our pile driver. I.What is the running-in period?  Generally speaking, the first 100 hours of a hydraulic pile driver after it leaves the factory is the running-in period. Just like two people, the process of becoming more familiar with each other is the running-in period. The same is true for pile drivers. It should be noted that both guardrail pile drivers and solar photovoltaic pile drivers require a running-in process. The use of the machine during the running-in period will directly affect the life of the machine. II.The importance of pile driver running-in. 1. Equipment performance optimization During the running-in period, the various moving parts of the photovoltaic pile driver, such as the power head, drill rod, cylinder and oil pump in the hydraulic system, can gradually adapt to each other's working conditions. This is like a pair of new shoes. It may be a little rubbing at the beginning, but after wearing it for a period of time, the shoes will fit the shape of the feet to a certain extent, and it will be more comfortable to wear. The pile driver is a complex mechanical equipment, which contains multiple systems such as mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical. During the running-in period, the various systems can gradually achieve better coordination.   2. Extend the service life of the equipment If the photovoltaic pile driver is allowed to work at full load without a running-in period, the surface of each component is relatively rough and the friction coefficient is large. Under high load conditions, the wear between the components will be very serious.   3. Ensure work quality and efficiency After running-in, the various parts of the pile driver can be better protected, the overall system structure of the equipment is stronger, and many possible faults encountered during construction are eliminated. Thus improving your economic benefits.     During the running-in period, the pile driver needs to be used carefully, and the hydraulic system must not be overloaded. More attention should be paid to the daily maintenance I mentioned earlier. After working for 50 hours, the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil should be checked, and the index should not be lower than 18/15 level. The oil suction filter element should be checked and cleaned. When checking, pay attention to whether the rubber or asbestos gasket is damaged. If damaged, it should be replaced in time.

Note: Every day! 1.The sides and front of the horizontal telescopic guide rail should be lubricated once a day to ensure smooth working surface, and observe whether there are debris, stones, and iron filings sucked in.   2. The working surface of the vertical guide rail and the interface with the wear-resistant block need to be lubricated once a day.   3. Each pile driver has multiple oil cylinders, and each oil cylinder has a grease nipple at the hinge point of the pin hole at the top, which needs to be injected with grease once a day.   4.The pin ends at the working position are all embedded with grease nipples, which need to be injected with grease once a day.   5. The working chain of the vertical guide rail (if the guide rail has a chain) needs to be lubricated with engine oil before work, and the debris, stones and iron filings attached to the chain should be cleaned up in time after work. 6. Check if any screws are loose. If so, tighten them immediately. 7.Check the connection surfaces of hydraulic components and all pipe joints of oil circuits for leaks.   8.Check the hydraulic oil level to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range.   In summary, all parts with more friction should be lubricated, and all grease fittings of oil cylinders and pins should be filled with grease. If there is a chain, you need to apply engine oil. Note that these are daily maintenance tasks that need to be done every day! Here I would like to give a suggestion to the contractors of photovoltaic projects and road guardrail construction projects: solar pile drivers and highway guardrail pile drivers, which have a relatively harsh working environment, must pay attention to daily maintenance. Three points of use and seven points of maintenance, or it can be understood as the 2-8 principle, using less than 20% of the time every day to maintain the machine can bring 70% more work efficiency. Daily routine maintenance can greatly reduce the probability of machine failure, thereby greatly improving economic benefits.
